Internship Description of Duties: 
We are looking for a social media manager to help grow our social media audiences for our feminist leadership podcast: Voice Lessons. You are an ambitious, creative type, who lives and breathes social media. You’re also passionate about marketing to women and full of ideas about how to our target demographic of 35 – 50-year-olds. You also love actively engaging with an online audience and thrive off of keeping them engaged with the content that speaks to them and encourages them to action. Candidates will pitch and execute ideas for promotions, form partnerships and work with us in refining our sales/marketing strategy. You must feel comfortable researching, creating promotional content, and assisting with outreach. You will also help in creating media for the podcast which includes trailer and video assets in support of our marketing efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Growing Instagram/Facebook/Pinterest Community for both profiles Adjusting branding on all outfacing profiles to create a cohesive brand profile and presentation Daily audience management and engagement with our established community as well as outreach to find new followers, podcast listeners, and supporters of our mission Content creation for daily feed, themes, podcast episodes, and marketing initiatives Pitching Conversations for social media collaboration and other relevant groups Research/pitching partnership opportunities with small businesses and media outlets Trailer creation, Youtube management, and other video editing assignments SEO strategy for social and online platforms Tiktok video uploads and posting on behalf of founder Occasional WordPress blog updates Creating and implementing an ambassador program Occasional research for potential podcast guests Opportunity for email marketing assigments WHEN: ASAP PAY: DOE This role will turn into a full-time position for the right candidate.
