Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

As a Student Ambassador, you will generate excitement, awareness, and buzz about through seeking out unique opportunities that will connect students with this leading national brand.  Each semester, you will plan and work 1-2 events on campus or in your local community.  You take every experience as a learning opportunity, and improve upon your technique for the next.  You can effectively prioritize and manage your time through your calendar, allowing you to juggle a lot at once.  The ideal candidate is comfortable planning and frequently interacting with fellow students, already connected with groups and organizations on campus, and is excited to expand their network even further.  You will be responsible for hiring and supervising 2-3 fellow students to help work your events.  Student Ambassadors will help to grow the community (and spread our mission) around the country just by spreading awareness on their campus.  After concluding each event, you will report findings from your event.  This is more than just a campus job - it’s a chance to get your resume off to an incredible start with real marketing experience helping transform affordable travel.


Key Qualifications:

-  Actively enrolled undergraduate student - rising sophomore or junior preferred (qualified rising seniors should still apply)

-  Majoring in, or experience with, marketing, advertising, public relations

-  Strong academic standing (2.5 GPA or higher)

-  Well-connected and outgoing member of campus community

-  Active and well-versed in social media – with 250 followers or more on each platform (Twitter, Instagram & Facebook)

-  Students should be interested in committing to program for the entire 2016-17 school year with the ability to work flexible hours and days, including weekends, on campus

-  Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, with inter-personal skills to speak to large groups of people

-  Self-motivated, able to work independently with little supervision and consistently reporting back to the program on campus involvement/events

-  Excellent time-management, organization, planning and implementation skills
