Social Media Intern

Mother Squad, Inc. is a startup based in Los Angeles focusing on new mothers. Lost in the litany of toy advertisements and child-rearing suggestions is the well-being of the actual mother herself. We provide mom-centric online support groups for moms and connect them to the resources they need to thrive.

We are looking for a social media intern who is savvy with all the latest platforms and knows what kind of content performs well. This is a remote part-time position, approximately ten hours per week, perfect for a college student looking to expand their future career possibilities while also taking classes. You will report to the Mother Squad's CEO/Founder.

Qualifications:

Advanced writing skills

Knowledge of social media

Research ability

Consistent time management and organization

 

Your duties will include:

Writing copy on various social media platforms

Scheduling content for our brand

Researching trending topics

Finding photos to pair with our posts

Occasional community interaction (responding to comments, retweets, etc)

 

This internship will position you with experience running organizational social media campaigns. You will learn how to write in the company’s tone, curate content that promotes a brand’s online presence and coordinate digital project logistics at a professional level. We will teach you how to use Hootsuite. Please include a cover letter and resume.
