This 9-week paid internship is a progressive position designed to provide those individuals identified as high potential with the skills necessary to potentially become part of the Neiman Marcus Executive Development Program. Interns will work in the corporate buying offices, planning division, marketing, advertising or online divisions.
The internship will provide a comprehensive overview of the company’s merchant and support functions. The intern will receive an executive mentor throughout his or her time at Neiman Marcus.
All interns will be exclusively located at the Neiman Marcus Group headquarters in Dallas or Irving, TX.
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
Understand and analyze the Neiman Marcus business
Participate in business development initiatives
Review sales trends and sales opportunities
Oversee execution of operational functions
Attend division meetings and react to needs of office
Must be a rising senior in college
Organized, analytical and ability to multitask
Well-spoken, mature, able to communicate effectively and professionally, both internally and externally
Be able to independently and confidently reach out to multiple contacts and team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated leadership skills
