About Reed Dickens
A former White House Assistant Press Secretary and founder of Dickens Capital Group, Dickens is also the Chairman and founder of Outside Eyes.
Dickens most recently served as the CEO of Marucci Sports, which Forbes Magazine recognized as one of the most promising growth brands in America and where his efforts to turn a Major League baseball bat company into a consumer brand resulted in exponential growth during his tenure. As one of the principle owners, Dickens still serves on the Board of Directors and as a strategic advisor.
Dickens has traveled the country as a corporate speaker, co-produced a documentary, and currently sits on several corporate and non-profit boards.
The War Room is the engine and nerve center of operations for Outside Eyes. Whether it is an internal request or a client demand, the War Room interns are expected to work efficiently to a produce a perfect product — on time, every time.
War Room interns should be resourceful, proactive, and reliable. The job includes responsibilities such as media monitoring, research, rapid response, and crafting messages for partners and clients. Interns will also work directly on client projects and will be involved with creative and production teams.
Various specific internships include:
- Production assistant, which includes preparation and execution of video shoots, photo shoots, interviews, etc for internal projects and clients.
- Editor, which includes editing and production of videos for client websites and social platforms
Department-specific internships are also responsible for daily War Room tasks and duties.
