Participant Media is a Beverly Hills based production company which finances, produces, and distributes socially relevant films and documentaries. Participant’s film releases include the 2010 Academy Award-winning documentary, The Cove, the 2010 Academy Award-nominated documentary Food Inc., The Crazies, The Visitor, Good Night and Good Luck, Syriana, and Academy Award winner, An Inconvenient Truth. TakePart.com is the hub of Participant’s Social Action Network ™, an alliance of cause and social issue sites, NGOs, action aggregators, and the official home for Participant’s social action campaigns. Featuring content
covering a broad array of social issues, TakePart.com connects users with the issues and causes they care about. TakePart is seeking a video production intern who is interested in learning and performing tasks such as writing video treatments, logging footage, developing production schedules, and developing new video ideas. Candidates with a background in video production preferred. Students with an interest in human rights, health, environment, and world affairs can expand their knowledge of these issues, as well as
contribute their personal passion and dedication.
Administrative/office experience preferred.
