Are you an all-star communicator who has never met a stranger? Do you want to hone your business development skills while working alongside a supportive team?
Our brand new sales internship will take you behind the scenes in B2B sales. You'll be working closely with our Director of Business Development and CEO to develop our sales pipeline and ensure we're on top of new strategies.
We're looking for current students or recent graduates who are available in our office in Chicago. Students must be available full-time or at least two full days per week between Monday-Thursday, beginning April 9th The internship is unpaid.
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
What You'll Do:
-Calling/emailing into mid-level businesses and startups to prospect for new business.
-Researching contact information of C-Level executives and/or marketing decision makers.
-Setting first meeting ‘discovery’ calls.
-Qualifying opportunities within target clients.
-Preparing and executing email campaigns.
-Support all administrative aspects of the sales and renewal process.
-Maintaining a list of weekly and monthly target metrics.
What You Need:
-Working towards an undergraduate degree in any discipline
-Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
-Strong organization and prioritization skills with excellent attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task and work to stringent deadlines
-Creativity and assertiveness
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues across the firm
-Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
-Solid work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide‐ranging responsibilities
-Willingness and flexibility to perform ad hoc tasks
-Salesforce experience a plus
