What’s This Position All About?

Are you looking to hone your design skills through real-world experience? Do you know the basics of Adobe Creative Suite but you want to learn from an awesome senior designer in order to improve your style? Are you dying to understand how your field of study fits into the marketing picture? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in the right place.

Perfect Search looking for a part-time design intern to join the time for three months. Interns must be available full-time or at least two full days per week between Monday-Thursday, beginning April 9th. The internship is unpaid.

This design internship will allow you to get formal training and experience in applying design theory to marketing campaigns all while learning advanced techniques for software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

You will need to submit at least 3 (but no more than 5) work samples from different categories, e.g. print, digital, illustration.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

What You'll Learn

-Create graphics and design layouts for display, remarketing, and social media ads

-Illustrating blog images

-Learn some SEO and PPC skills to understand how your work fits into the bigger marketing picture

-Collaborating with other team members to understand design requests

 

What You'll Need

-Junior or senior in an undergraduate program (do not necessarily have to be studying graphic design)

-Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required

-Basic knowledge of graphic design principles

-Attention to detail

-Enthusiasm and creativity

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

-Knowledge of digital marketing a plus

-Ping pong skills a plus
