Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Our ideal candidate:
-Has a deep interest and curiosity in worldly themes within the entire range of industry/media landscapes
-Possesses exceptional abilities in writing/content development
-Has a drive to follow and identify trends in culture, media and technology
-Has a passion for media and developing the ability to think like a journalist, anticipate news trends and create angles that resonate with reporters
-Possesses a team-oriented “getting things done” attitude
-Has a contagious passion and energy for communications, a person who can be a catalyst for sparking new ideas and opportunities, and who has the potential to bring innovative, unconventional and successful ideas to the table
-Has an interest in creating content for clients, including op-eds, bylines, bios, speaker abstracts and presentation scripts
-Is an avid reader of business media across traditional, digital and emerging media platforms

Duties include:
-Support the PR account teams by keeping them up to date on percolating news in the business, technology, media/marketing and advertising verticals
-Assist the PR account teams on account work, as needed
-Update media lists as needed by verifying information and keeping the team updated on changes in reporter beats; research and build media lists
-Draft pitches, press releases and content for clients
-Lead research projects
-Assist with media outreach and reporter follow-up
-Make press clippings and manage clip database
-Manage and update editorial calendar year-round
-Participate in agency brainstorms

Hours Required: 
15-30 Hours Per Week
