About Skinary: 

Skinary is a digital health company that lives in Boston, lives in your cell-phone, and promotes a good skincare comes from within philosophy that encourages, educates and celebrates healthy habits for everyday life.

Skinary is giving confidence through skin health as a direct-to-consumer company that leverages the power of personal self-reported habits to learn about your own skin health. We do this by building products, growing our community and making decisions in inclusive, customer-devoted, curious, courageous and discerning ways.

Skinary App Inc is a woman founded and led digital health company, based in Boston. It is an early stage startup, and currently developing the brand’s first product, a mobile application.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

- Creative Problem Solver

- Quick Wit and Action Oriented

- Appreciation for Meme Culture and #GirlPower

- Basic understanding of Excel, Doc and Powerpoint

- Familiar with Health Tracking Mobile Apps (example: Clue and Lifesum)

- Familiar with Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

- Has a strong interest in skincare and wellness

 

Assistance with the Press, Events and Community Outreach

Brand Press Kit development, strongly advised by Branding Advisor

Founder Press Kit development, strongly advised by Branding Advisor

Tracking outreach and results, via Trello

Lightly assist in planning community events in coordination with Outdoor Voices (a brand partner)

Internship Description of Duties: 
We are looking for a tenacious, curious, devoted to learning, and detail-oriented intern. Start-ups are fast-paced, and so will this internship. Projects will be quick-turn, so be prepared to use the best of your brain while on-site and working one-on-one with the Founder, who will be both you Boss/Mentor on this project. This will be a perfect fit if you are interested in... - Understanding how small businesses are started, and how entrepreneurs flex multiple skills - How Brands create their style, voice and become an authority. - How to build brand awareness using events and digital communities - Understanding how Public Relations can be used to grow a brand’s awareness to the general public
