Girl Talk, Inc. is a 501(c)3 registered-nonprofit that aims to build teenagers' self-esteems through leadership, mentorship, and community service opportunities. This is done by offering programs where high school girls mentor middle school girls to help the middle school girls get through the trials and triumphs of the middle school years.
-A public relations student looking for an unpaid, part-time (20 hours/week) internship, based in our Atlanta, GA. Office
-Able to work individually as well as with others (especially with the Social Media Interns)
-Skilled at communicating thoughts in a friendly, punchy manner
-A creative thinker who will find new, exciting ways to get the word out about Girl Talk and its mission, while also promoting for upcoming events and opportunities
-Responsible for managing corporate partnerships, developing unique methods of promoting the partnerships, and maintaining Girl Talk’s high level of gratitude toward all partners.
-Able to creatively promote and cross promote Girl Talk.
-Writing creative and effective press releases for Girl Talk activities at Headquarters and on the local chapter level.
-Utilizing different media outlets for camp promotions across the country.
-Comfortable interacting with external contacts in a professional manner.
-Able to reach high school girls about starting Girl Talk Chapters.
