Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

In this Internship you will learn how to be an effective professional, discover which talents to leverage and which to develop further, and most importantly, get a powerful head start in creating an impressive resume. As the Public Relations Intern, you will be give a uniquely autonomous role in designing, implementing and managing various press and public relation activities for the company and its owner. Specific responsibilities related to this internship may include, but not be limited to:

- Research and develop relationships with prospective media representatives nationwide
- Design and conduct unique pitches to secure interview opportunities for company owner
- Create and distribute press releases via various online resources
- Create weekly reports and conduct various administrative tasks as needed
- Develop strategic recommendations to improve business expansion

QUALIFICATIONS

- Actively pursing career/degree in Communications, Business or Marketing
- Some prior experience working in a professional environment

- Entrepreneurial spirit, with impeccable self-management mentality

- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to multi-task

- Effective and thorough communication skills with a “people person” disposition

- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

- Availability to work some hours during M-F workdays
