I’m a Los Angeles-based novelist. I write to inspire and enlighten people around the world to honor their cultural diversity by telling a spiritual story of adversity and unlikely love.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Internship Duties: Seeking positive, flexible, friendly Research Assistant with social media skills to help with marketing/publicity launch of debut novel. Work will be based on a project-by-project basis, approximately 5 hours each.

Learning experiences and project assignments include:

• Brainstorm and research for weekly blog topics
• Research and identify key romance reader influencers - facebook, twitter, pinterest, instagram
• Research and identify book club contacts for romance, Jewish, Asian and historical novels
• Compile and organize contact and mailing lists
• Event organizing for cultural events, book signings, assist with book selling
• Organized, knowledge of social media and excel
• Oversee email blasts
• Oversee PR mailings
• Web development skills; familiarity with Wordpress and plug-ins Monitor posts on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Some clerical work
• Other job duties may be added as need arises

Able to work independently
Initiative, follow through and dependability
Accuracy and attention to detail
Must have excellent written and oral communication
Good organizational skills
Computer knowledge to include: Microsoft Word, Excel

Compensation: Hired on a project by project bases. Approximately $50 for projects requiring about 4-5 hours.
Can work from home, some in-person events
Learn about marketing, public relations and publishing
Gain cultural awareness
