About Likeable Local:
Likeable Local offers an integrated software solution that allows small businesses to create, enhance and manage their social media presence. Likeable Local was founded in 2012 as a spin-off of Likeable Media, a highly successful social media marketing firm, and has a fully developed and deployed product that integrates with Facebook and Twitter. The software is sold on a subscription basis, allowing for attractive recurring revenue economics, and is already being used by a growing customer base in its initial vertical, dentists, as a result of a strategic partnership with Henry Schein.
Likeable Local has developed and deployed a full service software solution that incorporates four main components: content publisher, ad buyer, tab creator and an offline marketing kit. Along with full analytics, Likeable Local also offers education and training, giving small businesses the tools they need to take control of their social media presence.
Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:

We are looking for passionate and entrepreneurial college students to join us. In this fast-paced start up environment, all Sales Interns will report directly to the Sales Manager of the company. This position is unpaid but we will provide school credit with the opportunity to grow within Likeable Local.
Availability: Must be available for 15 hours per week to intern in our NYC office.
Our sales intern will be responsible for assisting Likeable with all elements related to sales. Our interns are recruited from the top schools in the New York and Boston area including New York University, Yale, Columbia, Harvard, Boston University, Cornell, and more.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Assist the Sales Manager with task delegation and all aspects of sales
-Maintain lead lists
-Perform analysis of sales data
-Seek and analyze competitor sales materials both on and offline
-Assist in all proposal preparations for clients
-Job shadow sales personnel on client interactions and pitches
-Tend to client phone calls
-strong commitment to detail
-excellent presentation skills
- ability to multi-task and work under pressure
-strong time-management and organizational skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
-experience using Google Docs, Hootsuite, Facebook ad platform, and Facebook insights are preferred.
- experience with Salesforce and CRM is highly favored
