Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:
Based in Beverly Hills, Shelter PR’s internship program offers college students the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the public relations field. Intern candidates must have good communication/people skills, strong writing skills, be comfortable speaking on the phone, creativity, and have a genuine interest in public relations. Current students studying PR, journalism, marketing, or communications are preferred.
Monitoring industry and client news
Creating press coverage reports
Building and maintaining press lists
Drafting press materials such as press releases, bios and/or fact sheets
Participate in account brainstorms and team meetings
Monitoring editorial calendars
Provide general administrative support
Researching and building media lists
Coordinating editorial coverage results
Ideal candidates are positive, energetic, trustworthy and driven. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on public relations experience in a friendly and energetic atmosphere.

Roughly 12-15 hours a week.
Must have your own form of transportation.
