Social Media Intern Responsibilities:
-Assist with day-to-day social media management, i.e. fan engagement, page and content moderation, and general outreach
-Assist with basic research regarding social media as needed
-Keep up to date with technology, trends, and innovation regarding digital strategy
-Event coverage and being a GofG brand ambassador
-Researching events in L.A. area and potential sales leads, keeping detailed research reports
-Administrative duties (managing calendar listings, editing our venue directory, etc)
Qualifications and Expectations:
-Minimum commitment of 2 full days (office hours are Mon-Fri 9-5pm) per week and weekly events in L.A. (Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown LA, etc)
-Working knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon and HootSuite
-Passionate about Social Media, Sales/Marketing, and Online Media
-Must be extremely detail oriented, team player and technologically savvy
-Excellent interpersonal skills, independent work style, minimum supervision
-Excellent research, writing and communications skills, a firm grasp of grammar
-Interest and knowledge of L.A. nightlife, fashion, culture.
