About Honey Media Creative Agency:

The non-conformist of the digital marketing age. We create efficiency through collective creative strategy. Content manifestation that starts conversations. Join our Honey Hive as we elevate the content and digital strategy of international brands, beauty and fashion companies, popular national podcasts, and much more. We like to dig deep; connecting to the heart of our clients and their audiences. We look at brands as a whole, diving into their digital ecosystem to create relevant content that inspires and connects people.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment:

Work directly with our Art Director and Creative Director to build brand awareness and bring brands to life with on-point TOV and copywriting. Must be detail-oriented and efficient multi-tasker, who thrives in the fast-paced agency environment. This is an entry-level position, with rapid room for growth.

The Social Media/Copywriting intern will report directly to the Art Director & Creative Director and is expected to draft engaging copy for our clients' ongoing deliverables — social media, website, brand blogs, influencer marketing, email marketing campaigns, and more. There will be ample opportunity for copywriters to participate and contribute to larger projects and production processes. Interns will develop an impressive portfolio of writing and content samples, learn and adapt to unique writing styles for a variety of clientele/demographics, and gain first-hand agency experience. Internship responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

☺︎ A creative portfolio or writing sample. Unique ideas. Clever writing. (Social Media samples accepted)

☺︎ Available in-person at least 1 day a week (the more the better!)

☺︎ Social media. Have it? Love it? Hate it and love it again? Must have an interest for connecting on the socials.

☺︎ Writing experience. Preferably for a brand or company, but not mandatory.

☺︎ Voice. A creative one. A unique one that can bend and mold depending on the subject.

☺︎ Humor. You don’t have moonlight as an SNL writer, but the ability to find humor in words (and yourself!) is preferred.

☺︎ Curiosity. Do you love learning and growing? This position requires a thirst for new knowledge and ideas.

☺︎ The ability to listen and take direction.

☺︎ The Golden Rule. If you can work (and play) nicely with others, you can hang with us.

☺︎ Design skills and knowledge are preferred. A love of great design and copywriting is a must.

☺︎ Proactivity. You must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, contribute to brainstorms, and generate ideas.

☺︎ Enthusiasm. For writing, for conversation, for the interwebs, for anything that keeps you connected with the pulse of pop culture.

☺︎ Pressure-tested. Deadlines - and fast projects - happen. Candidates must be able to keep cool when a deadline is hotly approaching.

☺︎ Time management skills. You must respect deadlines and be able to use a calendar.

**Remote opportunities available for exceptional candidates.**
