Bones and Feathers Collective was founded by two young designers, Natalie Mauro and Cole Morrall, who began collaborating after relocating from New York City to Los Angeles. The line combines indigenous styles with modern luxury, inspired by both girls’ rural upbringings – Cole’s in Kauai and Natalie’s in the Northern Midwest – and the urban sensibility of life in NYC. The two bonded over a shared love for everything creepy, and went on to produce a line known for its edginess, thanks to their use of material like recycled metals and chunky chains, bullet casings, and mold of rattlesnake vertebrae.
