Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 

Do you like building websites? Hack codes (legally of course!)? Interested in marketing online? We are looking for innovators and problem solvers. If that's you...we want you! This internship program will provide you with a complete understanding of our industry. You’ll experience new ways in communicating with clients and managing projects. It’ll allow you to build a portfolio of real-life experiences for after graduation.

Duties & Responsibilities include some or all of the following:

With guidance, you will help design, develop, and maintain websites
This is meant to be a learning experience as well so interns will also learn new ways to make updates, modifications, enhancements to web or email assets that may include graphical changes, style manipulations, HTML/CSS/Javascript additions, debugging or troubleshooting of problematic output, cross-browser testing, copy changes, and more.

*Experience with semantic HTML/XHTML and CSS
*Experience working with vector and raster graphics in applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
*Familiarity with Javascript, including experience with common libraries (jQuery, etc) and debugging tools (Firebug, etc.)
*Familiarity with PHP
*Familiarity with MAC OSX
*A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve departmental goals
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
*Effective communication, decision-making, and problem solving skills
*Familiarity with responsive web design techniques
*Experience building and using Wordpress and theme frameworks
*Some basic design skills

Hours: 20 hours a week. This is a virtual position, so scheduling the 20 hours to work is the Interns responsibility. Deadlines must be met and the Intern must be able to work in a virtual capacity. This is an unpaid internship. For college credits, it is the Intern's responsibility to provide us with the necessary paper to complete.
