Acclaimed Non Profit Organization, WET Productions, is currently reviewing submissions for Film Development Internships. This is an extremely rewarding internship opportunity that requires excellent phone, writing, communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: participating in all aspects of film development; including screenplay coverage, research, events, contacting agents, assisting the Executive Producer and Director of Film Development in daily activites. Internships at WET provide individuals with valuable hands-on experience and training and, if merited, offer recommendations, support and guidance in seeking further employment following the internship.
WET FILMS: Inspired by the mentoring system that supported the work of Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorcese, Brian DePalma, George Lucas and Robert DeNiro, WET will work with women writers to develop screenplays, providing notes, work sessions, casting, readings (public and private) and to move scripts from development to production. WET FILMS launched in 2010, and is run by WET’s Executive Producer and Creative Director Sasha Eden (NY), and Director of Film Development, Jordana Mollick (LA)
