Events will mainly take place Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights, and schedules will be confirmed 1-2 weeks ahead of time. Shifts will generally begin around 5:30 p.m. and will end by 8:30 p.m. For events that run later, staff shifts will usually finish by 11 p.m. Shift times will vary by event, but occasional day shifts will also be available.

Internship Description of Duties:
Wise & Company is a special events firm with expertise in planning and executing high-profile events in the entertainment, fashion and media industries. Our team works on significant New York events, including: Tribeca Film Festival, New York Fashion Week, YouTube Brandcast, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, as well as major Hollywood studios’ movie premieres. We are looking for staffers to help us prepare for and manage our events in Spring 2019. Staffers will work closely with Wise & Company staff to execute a variety of events, such as movie premieres, fashion shows and awards shows. At these events, responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Working ticket will-call at a theater • Helping with guest relations • Serving as ushers within a theater • Assisting with event logistics – ticket running, set up, directional support, etc. • Administrative work – sorting tickets, delivering tickets, etc.
