Women of EDM is posed to be the leading online Women’s Electronic Dance Music new source and entertainment publication.  Our unique approach combines news, blogs, vlogs, marketing and social media interaction.

Requirements/Necessary Skills for Recruitment: 


-Must be extremely organized.

-Must have a working knowledge of video editing software, Hootsuite, WordPress, and image editing apps or software.

-Must have a working knowledge of all social media handles, as well as Pinterest, Reddit and Youtube.


-Post information from site to all handles.

-Collect and organize visualy appealing content for creators.

-Reach out to influences for website features and blogging requests on fashion preferences, festival thoughts and music tastes.

-Correspond with international Public Relations firms, artists, entertainment managers, social media influencers as well as the Women of EDM team members and contributors.

-Post merchandise from affiliate partners using link generators and images from page source html.

-Post press releases, press kits, tour and event info, new music, and related articles.

-Regularly review affiliate partner sites to identify new and trending products that would appeal to the base reader of Women of EDM.

-Curate and compose merchandise blogs from information provided.

-Create vlogs and blogs about a woman’s perspective of the electronic dance music experience and the culture.

Internship Description of Duties: 
This internship is for those interested in: Public relations, journalism, marketing,broadcast journalism, graphic design, social media, fashion and the Electronic Dance Music industry. What will you learn: -How to build a brand through affiliate marketing by means of blog content and social media promotion for electronic dance culture. -How to maintain business relationships within the music industry. -How to conduct interviews with artists and social media influencers at music festivals and night clubs.
