I am majoring in media and communication and minoring in creative writing. On campus I have been on the on the student-run Hillel Board for the past two years. Muhlenberg Campus is over 34% Jewish, the fifth most Jewish school in the nation, therefore our board has many responsibilities. I am also a member and on the executive board of my sorority, Delta Zeta.
This summer is the first time I am interning. I am an intern at Trachtenberg&Co. It is PR firm for beauty and fashion. I think internships are a great way to get your foot into the door. Internships are the best way to have real-world experiences before graduation. It is also a learning process. For example, if you intern in a field that you think you may love, and want to do after school, and then realize that you don’t really enjoy it-- at least you learned before actually getting too involved with the subject. It is also a great way to network and build a resume.
