I love networking with students interested in Law, non-profit organizations and business. I am highly involved in campus activities at Mount Holyoke College. I participate in several law school preparation programs, and I am also the founder of an event inspired by the non-profit organization Dress for Success that will be happening this fall. At this event, my team and I will give interview tips and advice on how to prepare for an internship.
This summer, I am an intern at Catalyst Miami, previously the Human Service Coalition, which is a non-profit organization in Miami, FL. Catalyst Miami supports programs in Miami-Dade that help people in the community become leaders and advocates. The programs also help low-income residents get financial support through a prosperity campaign. I am a communications intern in Catalyst Miami&s Public Allies Miami Program, and I also help Catalyst Miami with law and public policy. I am only in week two of my internship, and I have already written a press release and worked with social media! In addition, I am helping the CEO publish an article in the George Town Journal on poverty law and policy.
