Meet Hannah, a transfer from Ohio University to Loyola Marymount University and our Newest Campus Ambassador!
Hi, my name is Hannah Faust and I am the New Loyola Marymount University Campus Ambassador for InternQueen.com. After two years of education at Ohio University, I decided to make a strategic career move and transfer to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles to study communication/Business Administration. See, I am determined to build a career in fashion and entertainment and I felt that I wasn’t getting the full, hands-on educated that I needed in Ohio. I was involved in a number of organizations including our fashion magazine and my sorority, while working at a continuing internship during breaks and sometimes online from school. My position in the sorority helped me develop strong leadership and organizational skills, while my internship at Ologie (a branding and marketing firm in Columbus) helped me develop my professional skills and learn about the industry. Now, when I transfer, I intend on working a different internship each semester (excluding the first one, so I can get properly adjusted). Some of the student organizations I intend to join include the Business of Entertainment Society, the Marketing Society, and Transfer Friends. Overall, the goal of my college career is to network as much as possible and gain as much experience as possible before entering the workforce. I believe that internships play a crucial role in the process of gaining that experience, and I hope that other college students would benefit from hearing about my experiences. And of course, I am happy to spread the knowledge.
