Prepare for Fall Semester
This is a guest post written by Silvia, our Ithaca College Intern Queen Campus Ambassador.
As summer comes to a close we’re all trying to get our last hours in the sun, as well as making sure we close our internships with a bang, and I hope enjoy the free days we have until the fall semester begins. As you prepare for the fall here are a few helpful tips and recommendations to make your semester as easy (and fun) as possible.
- Look over everything! This includes your school schedule, work schedule, and your internship schedule. Don’t worry if you haven’t landed a fall internship there is still time to look. Use internqueen.com or your school database for help.
- As you look over all your responsibilities make a schedule that’s flexible. For example, include your class time, work time, study time, meal time, and try and squeeze activities like, the gym, yoga, etc. Make sure you make a schedule that works for you and allows you to relax.
- Set out well-rounded goals for the semester. For example, get on dean’s list, perfect your cover letter, tone your legs, etc.
- Always remember to leave time for yourself, be responsible, and have fun.
