Real Talk: How to Be an Activist on Campus

Hi fellow interns! A new youtube video just went up and it gets pretty real… Lauren talks with activist Sara Grossman about the recent shootings and tragic events of 2018. Sara discusses tips and tricks on how to get involved on campus and make a difference in the change YOU want to see! Here are a few of the take aways:

- Join a club at school (or start your own!)

- Join Student Demand Action, a student wing for the Every Town for Gun Safety organization

- Text “Students” to 64433

- Go to thedruproject.org to connect with other students in the gay straight alliance

- Visit mathewsplace.com, to connect with LGBTQ youth and talk about anything you want to get off your chest!

- Use your voice!

Remember the only way to make change is to get involved!
