What Would You Do With $2,500?
Do you have an innovative idea for a project that will affect a positive social change in your community? What would you do with a grant of of up to $2,500 to help implement this project?
If the thought of this gets you excited, you should check out the ANNpower Vital Voices Initiative -- a groundbreaking partnership between ANN INC. (parent company of Ann Taylor and LOFT) and Vital Voices. Through this initiative, girls will receive leadership training, empowering them to become the next generation of global trailblazers.
How it Works:
Fifty 10th and 11th graders will be selected to be 2014 ANNpower Fellows. If you are selected, you will join an elite group of rising stars; providing you with the skills, tools and training needed to realize your full leadership potential. Selected students will:
- Participate in the ANNpower Vital Voices Leadership Forum, a three-day leadership training in Washington, DC from June 16-19, 2014.
- Obtain skills and networks to take on leadership roles in your schools and communities.
- Be mentored by global women leaders who are part of the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network, as well as executives from ANN INC., including President and CEO, Kay Krill.
- Attend the 13th Vital Voices Annual Global Leadership Awards at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Become a leader that will affect CHANGE in YOUR community. Attend the ANNpower Vital Voices Leadership Forum. Be eligible to win a $2,500 grant to put your ideas into action.
Who Should Apply:
Girls who are in the 10th or 11th grade at a high school in the United States, Puerto Rico or Canada.
Dates + Deadlines:
Apply by Saturday, March 1 at 11:59 PM EST. Fellowships will be announced in April. The 2014 Leadership Forum will take place June 16 - 19.
